Our Contributions
Karnataka Food Drive:
In the 2024 Global Hunger Index, India ranks 105th out of 127 countries, with a score of 27.3, indicating a serious level of hunger. This highlights the urgent need for action. To begin making a difference, we decided to start with Karnataka. On January 25, 2025, we hosted the Karnataka Food Drive, where over 100 people were provided with nutritious meals and clean drinking water. Food drives are at the heart of our organisation, and we are committed to hosting many more in the future to help combat hunger and improve lives.
Drug Awareness Campaign:
Anantha Foundation organised a Drug Awareness Campaign to address the critical issue of substance abuse. The event was held at the Rehabilitation Centre Raksha Mandira in Laggere, Bangalore, on June 25, 2024. During the campaign, we taught the importance of protecting our community from the dangers of drugs and offered a ray of hope to those affected by addiction. It was a much-needed initiative that not only raised awareness but also brought a sense of happiness and fulfilment to our hearts, as we worked together to make a positive impact.
Athletics Championship 2025:
The South Asia Masters Athletics Open Championships 2025 took place at Mangala Stadium in Mangalore, gathering talented athletes from across the region. Our champions participated in this prestigious event, putting their skills and determination to the test. As a gesture of support, we sponsored T-shirts for all our athletes, ensuring they had what they needed to perform at their best.
Distributing Educational Materials:
As part of our efforts to support education, we distributed educational materials to tribal children in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. These included charts with vegetable and fruit names, along with other helpful charts to improve their learning. Additionally, we provided general knowledge books to children in need, helping them expand their understanding and strengthen their education. Our goal is to provide these children with the resources they need to grow and succeed.
Plant Distribution:
In celebration of World Environment Day, we took a step towards a greener future by distributing plants and saplings to our employees. This green initiative was aimed at encouraging everyone to contribute to environmental preservation and create a more sustainable workplace.
By giving out plants, we hoped to inspire our team to play an active role in protecting and nurturing the environment around them.
Distributing Everyday Essentials:
To help those in need during the cold weather, we distributed everyday essentials like blankets to protect them from the harsh conditions. Many people, due to their difficult circumstances, sleep on platforms without any warmth. By providing these blankets, we aim to offer them something essential for staying warm and healthy.
